Executive Officers
I. Robert Emmerich
Mr. Emmerich is Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer of First Commonwealth Bank since 2009. Prior to joining First Commonwealth, Mr. Emmerich was retired from a 31-year career at National City Corporation, Cleveland, Ohio, where he most recently served as Executive Vice President & Chief Credit Officer for consumer lending. He received his BA degree in English from DePauw University (Greencastle, Indiana) and earned his MBA in Finance from Cleveland State University.
Leonard V. Lombardi
Leonard V. Lombardi, CIA, CFSA, is Executive Vice President and Chief Audit Executive at First Commonwealth Financial Corporation. Lombardi began his banking career in 1981 as an auditor. In addition to audit and loan review, he has held various managerial positions in finance. A graduate of Penn State University where he earned a BBA in Accounting, Lombardi completed his MBA in Finance at Indiana University.
Norman J. Montgomery
Mr. Montgomery is Executive Vice President of Business
Integration at First Commonwealth Bank. He joined First Commonwealth in June of
1989 as an auditor of the organization’s Operations, Electronic Data Processing, and
Finance areas. He served in this capacity through 1996. From 1996 through 1998,
Mr. Montgomery was responsible for coordinating the consolidation of multi-bank loan
processing systems into one integrated site while also managing Consumer, Mortgage,
Commercial Loan Servicing, document imaging, payment processing, card servicing
(Debit and Credit) and secondary market support for mortgages and student loans. He
led that group through several bank processing consolidations and in 2004 assumed
responsibility for commercial portfolio support, business analysis services and wealth
operations. In 2007, Mr. Montgomery was appointed to oversee Product Management
(Loans, Deposits and Electronic) and Marketing, as well as to lead an effort to establish
a Sales Development & Reporting group which supports the organization’s Lines of
Business. Most recently, in July of 2012, he assumed the additional responsibility
of overseeing First Commonwealth’s Technology and Operations functions. Mr.
Montgomery earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from
Indiana University of Pennsylvania and completed the BAI Graduate School of Bank
Operations and Technology at Vanderbilt University.
Thomas Michael Price
Mr. Price is President and Chief Executive Officer of First Commonwealth. He joined First Commonwealth in November 2007 as President of First Commonwealth Bank. He has more than 20 years of management experience in the financial services industry, most recently as Chief Executive Officer for National City Corporation in the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky market. Mr. Price received his BS degree from the University of Utah, and he earned his MBA from Cleveland State University.
Robert E. Rout
Mr. Rout is Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of First Commonwealth Financial Corporation. Prior to joining First Commonwealth in February 2010, Mr. Rout was Chief Administrative Officer, CFO & Secretary of S&T Bancorp, Inc., Indiana, Pennsylvania. He has 35 years of management experience in the financial services industry. He holds a BS degree in business administration from West Liberty State College (WV) and he earned his MBA from Robert Morris University (Pittsburgh, PA). He is a Certified Management Accountant.
Matthew C. Tomb
Matt Tomb is Executive Vice President, Chief Risk Officer, General Counsel and Secretary of First Commonwealth Financial Corporation. Mr. Tomb serves as internal legal counsel for the corporation and oversees the company’s compliance, security and fraud and enterprise risk management functions. Prior to joining First Commonwealth in August 2007, Mr. Tomb worked for a Denver based law firm where he specialized in corporate, securities and banking law, and mergers and acquisitions. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and a Juris Doctor Degree from Duke University.

David S. Dahlmann Chairman
Mr. Dahlmann is Chairman of the Board of the Corporation; formerly President and Chief Executive Officer of Southwest Bank (which was acquired by the Corporation in 1998) and Director of First Commonwealth Bank.
Julie A. Caponi
Mrs. Caponi is Vice President, Internal Audit at Alcoa Incorporated. She is a Certified Public Accountant and formerly was an audit partner at Deloitte & Touche LLP. Mrs. Caponi is also a Director of First Commonwealth Bank.
Ray T. Charley
Mr. Charley is Chief Executive Officer, Thomi Company (retail grocers); Director of First Commonwealth Bank.
Gary R. Claus
Mr. Claus is Managing Director of the Jade Group, a Pittsburgh-based executive search and management consulting firm since 2008. Prior to joining the Jade Group, Mr. Claus spent 34 years as a tax accountant at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, where he became a Partner in 1986.
Johnston A. Glass
Johnston Glass, retired, is a former Vice Chairman of First Commonwealth Financial Corporation, and former President and CEO of First Commonwealth Bank (1997 to 2005).
Jon L. Gorney
Mr. Gorney is a management consultant who began his 37-year
career in the financial services industry with National City Corporation. He served as
Executive Vice President of National City Corporation from 1992 through 2008 and
oversaw all technology and operations for National City. From 2004 through 2006, Mr.
Gorney also served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of National Processing
Company, a majority subsidiary of National City that was the second largest merchant
card processor in the United States. Mr. Gorney joined PNC Financial Services Group
through the acquisition of National City in December 2008 and served as an Executive
Vice President until his retirement in June 2010. Mr. Gorney earned a Bachelor of
Science degree in computer science from the University of Dayton. Mr. Gorney is also a
Director of First Commonwealth Bank.
David W. Greenfield
Mr. Greenfield previously served as Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel of Kennametal, Inc., a global manufacturer of tooling, engineered components and advanced materials consumed in production processes. Prior to joining Kennametal in 2001, Mr. Greenfield was a member of Buchanan Ingersoll P.C., a Pittsburgh-based law firm, focusing on corporate, financial and transactional issues involving public and private companies. He also served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Meritor Automotive, Inc. and Associate General Counsel of Rockwell International Corporation. Mr. Greenfield earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pittsburgh and a law degree from Wake Forest University School of Law. Having practiced law for over 35 years and served in executive capacities for three publicly traded companies, Mr. Greenfield has extensive experience in corporate governance, ethics and compliance matters and the execution of corporate strategy.
Luke A. Latimer
Mr. Latimer is Executive Vice President and Treasurer of R&L Development, a heavy construction company in New Alexandria, Pennsylvania, since 2001, Vice President and Treasurer of Derry International LTD, Incorporated, a mining company based in New Alexandria, since 1999, and President and CEO of Great Oak Incorporated, an attained age manufactured home community in Kissimmee, Florida, since 1999. Mr. Latimer is also a Director of First Commonwealth Bank.
James W. Newill
Mr. Newill is a Certified Public Accountant and formerly President, J.W. Newill Company (public accounting).

Robert J. Ventura
Mr. Ventura joined the First Commonwealth Financial Corporation Board at their regular meeting in July 2004 as a result of the successful conclusion of the merger of GA Financial Inc. and First Commonwealth. Mr. Ventura is a Principal with the Ventura Group, LLC, located in Pittsburgh, PA and also served as a director of GA Financial Inc.
